Music

New Orleans cellist, guitarist, and songwriter performing under the name Dacello.

Studied Cello Performance and Music Business at Loyola University New Orleans. Principal cellist in both the Loyola Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Participated in a masterclass with Yo-Yo Ma in 2012.

Masterclass with Yo-Yo Ma

On October 27, 2012, I performed on stage with Yo-Yo Ma during his masterclass at Loyola University’s Roussel Hall. As one of two student cellists selected to join the 15-time Grammy winner on stage, I played for a sold-out crowd the day after Ma’s performance with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. The event was covered by The Times-Picayune / NOLA.com.

Fun fact: I have an identical twin brother who plays jazz violin on Frenchman Street.
